Originally from Moscow, Russia, Nina has a background in gymnastics, Latin and swing dancing. Nina has been a part-time dance and fitness instructor for over 12 years, teaching group exercise classes such as yoga, pilates, Zumba, Zumba for seniors, Aqua Zumba as well as swing (East Coast, Lindy Hop, and West Coast swing) and Latin dances in the seacoast area. Students in her classes range from teenagers to 90+ year olds. Nina was featured as a principal dancer in 2016 Disney’s feature movie “The Finest Hours”. In 2016 Nina attended a training program in Afro-Cuban movement and rumba with the instructors from The Institute of Superior Arts in Havana, Cuba.
Nina has been performing with various dance companies for many years including FreEMotion/LibrEmocion, Rumba Y Timbal, Alma Cubana, MASA2, Moves & Vibes, Samba Divas and Volante traveling team, and is thrilled to direct her ladies salsa styling team Fluere Dance in Portsmouth, NH. Fluere Dance is in their second season and performs at local and national level events.
